Clara Monk

Clara Monk graduated from Columbia College in 2020 with a degree in Economics and Education Studies and is currently the FAO Schwarz Fellow at Reading Partners New York. Clara trained at Berkeley Ballet Theater on scholarship and at the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre/OBT2. While at Columbia, she directed the Columbia University Ballet Ensemble and was a founding director of Columbia Repertory Ballet.

 

Ellen Lou

Ellen Lou started dancing at the age of three and continued her pre-professional training at Princeton Ballet School in Princeton, New Jersey. Upon her high school graduation, she joined American Repertory Ballet as a professional company member for two years. She graduated from the School of General Studies in 2020 with a degree in Sociology with a concentration in business. She is currently an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan.

 

Marika Chrisanthopoulos

Marika Chrisanthopoulos is a Barnard 2019 graduate who majored in psychology. She began dancing at the age of 7, primarily studying ballet. As part of CRB’s founding leadership team, her main goal was to help create a new dance group for passionate dancers of the Columbia community to showcase new repertory by a variety of choreographers.

 
 

Kyryk Pavlovsky

Kyryk Pavlovsky began dancing at Princeton Ballet School at six years old, and continued his pre-professional training there and Ellison Ballet on full scholarship. Before coming to Columbia, he danced professionally with American Repertory Ballet as an apprentice. Kyryk graduated from Columbia College in 2020 with a degree in Political Science and Statistics.

 

Simon Wexler

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Simon Wexler immigrated to the United States in 1993 and started his dance training at the Academy of Ballet in Tucson, Arizona. Simon began his intensive ballet training at 13 years old at the prestigious Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C.; upon graduation from the Kirov Academy of Ballet, Mr. Wexler joined Orlando Ballet II. In 2010, Mr. Wexler left the Orlando Ballet and joined Texas Ballet Theater; he was promoted to the rank of First Soloist in 2013 and in 2014 was again promoted to the rank of Principal. In 2015, Simon joined the American Ballet Theatre, and after 2 years with ABT touring around the world, Mr. Wexler transitioned his focus to freelance work as well as his academic studies. He graduated from the School of General Studies in 2020 with a degree in Economics.
