Choreographers
Emily Adams
Emily is an American ballet dancer and choreographer. Originally from Newtown, PA, she trained at the School of American Ballet before joining Ballet West II in 2005 and the main company in 2007. She was promoted to Principal Artist in 2015. She has created six ballets for Ballet West and she was awarded the Utah Arts Festival’s Choreographic Commission in 2017.In July 2022, Emily was one of four choreographers chosen to participate in the National Choreographers Initiative under the direction of Molly Lynch. CRB is thrilled to be performing her piece, BUT A DREAM, this semester.
Kevin Jenkins
Kevin has choreographed for numerous professional ballet companies including State Street Ballet, St. Louis Ballet, San Diego Dance Theatre, the School of Ballet Arizona, SUNY Purchase, CPYB, Island Moving Company, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami, and Big Muddy Dance among others. He has served on the faculty at Boston Ballet School, Joffrey Ballet School, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, the University of San Diego, and Master Ballet Academy. His choreography has been performed on the Inside/Out Series at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and he has been awarded residencies with Djerassi and the National Choreographers Initiative. CRB is ecstatic to be performing his piece Still Waters.
Tiffany Mangulabnan
Tiffany is a New York-based Filipino dancer and choreographer and a founding co-artistic director of the Brooklyn-based contemporary ballet company konverjdans. Born and raised in Manila, she began her professional career with the Philippine Ballet Theatre and eventually performed as a principal dancer with the company until she moved to New York City in 2012. She currently performs at The Metropolitan Opera as well as Gleich Dances, Indelible Dance, John Passaflume Dancers, and Pigeonwing Dance. This semester, CRB is thrilled to be performing her piece, Don’t Get Comfy/Nowhere.
David Fernandez
David is a choreographer and award-winning filmmaker based out of New York City and has created works for dancers of New York City Ballet as well as for dancers of American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem and more. He has additionally taught for summer intensives at Palermo Ballet Summer Intensive in Italy, New Zealand School of Dance, and the Academia de Danza Franck in México. CRB is so excited to be performing his piece, Follia Theme + Variations, this semester.
